- fresh figs, stems trimmed
- 1/4 cup
- coarsely grated wine-soaked goat cheese
- 60 mL
- 1/4 cup
- finely chopped salami or Panache Salchichon Dry Sausage
- 60 mL
- raspberry jam, such as Panache Pure Raspberry Jam
- 2 tsp
- red wine vinegar
- 10 mL
- 1 tsp
- grainy mustard
- 5 mL
- 2 tsp
- finely chopped fresh rosemary
- 10 mL
Directions
Step 1
Line a baking sheet with foil. Cut an “X” into top of each fig, slicing about 3/4 of the way down into the figs, keeping base of figs intact. Gently open up "X" in centre of fig and stuff with goat cheese and salchichon. Place on prepared baking sheet.
Step 2
Preheat broiler. Stir together jam, vinegar and mustard; brush over figs and sprinkle with rosemary. Broil 2 to 3 min. until figs are tender and goat cheese is heated through. Serve immediately.
