- 250 mL

- Compliments White Hot Chocolate Mix

- mascarpone cheese, at room temperature
- 250 mL
- ½ cup

- 125 mL
- 1 tsp
- pure vanilla extract

Directions
Step 1
Matcha: Stir matcha with hot chocolate mix and icing sugar in a shallow bowl until sugar dissolves. Refrigerate until cooled to room temperature.
Step 2
Filling: Meanwhile, beat mascarpone with hot chocolate mix and vanilla extract in a large bowl, using an electric mixer on medium-high, until chocolate mix dissolves. (Mixture won’t feel grainy when rubbed between your fingers.) Stir in ½ cup (125 mL) whipped topping until no streaks remain. Gently fold in remaining ½ cup (125 mL) whipped topping until no streaks remain.
Step 3
Dip ladyfingers into matcha mixture until just soaked, then arrange in one layer over bottom of an 8x8-in. (20x20-cm) baking dish. (If needed, cut a few ladyfingers to fit.) Spread half of mascarpone mixture over ladyfingers to the edges. Repeat layering. Cover with plastic wrap, then refrigerate until firm, at least 4 hr or overnight.
Step 4
Just before serving, sift more white hot chocolate mix or matcha powder overtop, if desired
