- light brown sugar

- Panache Natural Vanilla Ice Cream, softened
- 250 mL
- Cider
- 6 oz
- Compliments Apple Cider
- 175 mL
- 2 tbsp
- Butter Batter
- 30 mL
- 1
- star anise
- 1
- cinnamon stick
Directions
Step 1
To make Butter Batter, in freezer-proof container, mix butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg until blended. Mix in ice cream. Cover and freeze for at least 45 min. before using. (Tip: Recipe makes enough for 12 to 14 drinks, and can be frozen for up to 2 weeks.)
Step 2
To make hot buttered cider, add apple cider to small saucepan over low heat; heat just until hot to prevent scorching. (Tip: Heat enough for several drinks at once; store in thermos to make drinks to order.)
Step 3
Pour the hot cider into a mug or other heatproof cup. Scoop about 2 tbsp (30 mL) Butter Batter into the drink and quickly stir.
Step 4
Garnish with the star anise and cinnamon stick.
