Ingredients

- green beans, ends trimmed
- 375 g
- 1 cup
- cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
- 250 mL

- small shallot, minced
- 1/4 cup
- coarsely chopped fresh Compliments Basil
- 60 mL
- 3 tbsp
- olive oil
- 45 mL
- 1 tbsp
- Compliments Red Wine Vinegar
- 15 mL
- 1/4 tsp
- each salt and pepper
- 1 mL
Directions
Step 1
Cook beans in a large pot of boiling water until tender-crisp, about 2 min. Drain and rinse under cold water. Pat dry and transfer to a bowl with tomatoes, shallot and basil.
Step 2
Whisk oil with vinegar, salt and pepper. Toss salad with dressing and serve.
