- 1/2 cup
- low fat ricotta cheese
- 125 mL
- 2 tbsp
- honey
- 30 mL
- 3 tbsp
- lightly toasted pinenuts
- 45 mL
Directions
Step 1
Halve each fig lengthwise.
Step 2
Top each half with about 1 tsp (5 mL) ricotta cheese.
Step 3
Drizzle with honey and top with pine nuts.
Tip
For an exotic twist use a bold flavoured honey such as buckwheat, chestnut, or wildflower.
Change it up, and replace honey with balsamic glaze
