Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder and grated Parmesan cheese until well blended. Separate biscuits and cut each into 3 equal pieces. Gently stretch each piece into a flat disc. Spoon mounded 1 tsp cream cheese mixture into the centre of each disc. Pull edges of dough together, pinching firmly to seal.
Step 3
In a bowl, toss dough balls in butter to coat.
Step 4
Arrange the prepared pan vertically on the kitchen counter. About â…“ of the way up from the bottom of the pan, arrange 7 dough balls, seam-side down, in a tight row. The balls should be touching each other.
Step 5
Arrange remaining dough balls in rows above the first row, decreasing the length of each row, to make a triangle. You should have 2 dough balls left. Arrange reserved dough balls under the triangle to resemble a tree trunk.
Step 6
Spoon and spread pizza sauce over top of dough balls; sprinkle all over with mozzarella, leaving a slight border around edges. Top with pepperoni and yellow pepper.
Step 7
Bake until golden brown around edges and cheese is melted and bubbly, about 25 mins. Let cool for 5 mins. Sprinkle with green onions.
