Yes, you can complete challenges in all apps simultaneously and your Chips won will be cumulative.

Chips are what you earn throughout the contest when completing challenges.  These Chips can be allocated to a Sweepstake prize of your choice.

To collect Chips, you need to complete Grocery Giveaway challenges every week (Thursday to Wednesday) from March 27 to April 30, 2025. New challenges can be viewed each week by clicking on Challenges in the grocery apps.

You can view weekly challenges within the app.  Each challenge will have different instructions and once completed, you will be awarded with chips to enter towards sweepstakes prizes. Please read the challenge instructions carefully to ensure you are properly completing the challenge.

Chips can be entered into the Sweepstakes until May 7, 2025.  After that, the Chips will be void.

By completing challenges, you can earn Chips. These Chips give you a chance to win one of the Sweepstakes prizes. You decide how many Chips go to the Sweepstakes prize of your choice. Each chip is equal to one entry for a chance to win that Sweepstakes prize. Once the Chips are submitted into the desired Sweepstake, the Chips cannot be withdrawn.

You can check your current balance on the app within the Grocery Giveaways Leaderboard section. Your Chips balance displays the sum of all your earned Chips from your completed challenges across Sobeys, Safeway, Foodland and FreshCo/Chalo! Banners.

After each store visit, reopen the mobile app and click on the Offers tab to earn any Chips from your redeemed mobile offers. Then click on the Grocery Giveaways Leaderboard to refresh and view all your earned balance.

Close the game and re-open it, navigate to the Offers Tab in your app and you will see the offer tile there. It may take up to 72 hours for the offer to appear. You have until May 7, 2025, to redeem your Free Item Offer and after this date, the offer expires and is void.

No, unfortunately you will not be able to transfer earned Grocery Giveaways Chips to another user.

No you do not. However in order to receive the maximum number of Chip entries, there are both Purchase and No Purchase challenges within the Grocery Giveaways contest.

The draw will occur on May 22, 2025 and potential winners will be contacted within 14 days of the draw date.
