Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325F (160C).
Step 2
In a small bowl, combine walnuts, corn syrup, sugar, salt and cayenne pepper; toss to coat. (nuts may clump together)
Step 3
Spread out walnuts on parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
Step 4
Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden and sugar is bubbling (Note: mixture is VERY HOT).
Step 5
Let cool completely on baking sheet.
Step 6
Break apart if necessary. (Make ahead. Store in airtight container for up to 5 days).
